Terms of use

Little Aurora helps you plan when and where to look for the aurora. It can’t promise you’ll see it.

Little Aurora is made by Little Studio, the studio of Muaaz Saeed, who publishes it on the App Store (“we”). Last updated 18 October 2026.

The app

Little Aurora is licensed to you under Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement, with these terms alongside it. Where they differ, Apple’s agreement applies.

Forecasts are forecasts

The aurora, the cloud and the weather can’t be predicted for certain. Little Aurora’s verdicts, windows and outlooks are our best reading of the data available at the time, and they can be wrong. No forecast, outlook or trip pass promises that you’ll see the aurora.

Your safety is yours to judge

Whose data you see

Little Aurora shows data from public and national services, each credited in the app under Settings, Sources. Their data stays theirs, under their own licences. Weather warnings are shown unchanged, with a link to the full warning.

This information is made freely available by MetService. Despite this, MetService is not associated with, and does not endorse, Little Aurora or have involvement in how this information is presented.

None of the organisations whose data the app uses is associated with Little Aurora or endorses it.

The trip pass

The trip pass is bought through the App Store, under Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple. A pass covers the trip it was bought for, as the app describes when you buy it.

Liability

We work to keep Little Aurora accurate and available, but it’s provided as it is, without any promise that it’s complete, correct or always available. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss or harm that comes from relying on it. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law where you live.

Changes and contact

We’ll update this page if these terms change. Questions: hello@littlestudio.app.
